Scott & Aaron’s place was fantastic! We were greeted with a fresh bouquet of flowers as well as snacks, coffee, tea and Perrier in the fridge. They were exceptional hosts in terms of communication and accommodated our requests for a slightly earlier than expected arrival. Upon entry it was clear that the property was well maintained and extremely clean. Although we were there in the cold of winter, the views out the back were beautiful (we could watch the snowmobilers zip across the lake!). The location was minutes from downtown. With some heavy snow arriving during our stay, Scott was prompt about removing/clearing snow from the driveway and walkway. We certainly felt welcomed and couldn’t have asked for anything more — perhaps warmer weather, but that isn’t their fault! It would be fun to return to this property in the summer months and take in the water activities. We would highly recommend this property to families looking for a comfortable stay

You can expect a very clean home with everything that you require for your stay. You will witness beautiful sunrises and sunsets from inside and outside o the cottage. Scott and Aaron are quick to respond to all questions and are very welcoming. The outside space is well kept and large enough to do whatever it choose. Great experience, I would stay again!!!

Scott and Aaron were awesome. They were so sweet and thoughtful. The place was perfect. When you come with kids you really want the place to be what it said and shows and I was so thrilled when I pulled up and saw them and how nice they and their cottage was. My family had an amazing time and we needed to bring nothing, just our clothes, which is the getaway I wanted. No big packing and unpacking! Hosts were very welcoming and helpful for our big group of 8. The place was super great for with a big common space for us to hang out, along with a huge backyard with firepit and bbq area. The location was great as it was very convenient to get to town and accessing all the restaurants and stores.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage. It was sparkling clean and the little touches like cotton balls and q-tips in the bathroom were great. Scott was very responsive to our queries. They brought over a lily-pad so our daughters could hang out in the water and some extra books for my older girl to read when she ran out of stuff. Made for a great family holiday!

We spent Monday to Friday in this beautiful lakefront property. The home is clean, larger then we thought and has everything you need. Our children were so busy with all the outdoor water toys that they never wanted to come inside. A huge Lilly pad, kayak and paddle board helped make some great memories. If anything was needed or if we had any questions, Scott was there within minutes. We can’t wait to be back next summer!!

An absolutely perfect getaway for our group! The photos do not do the cottage justice — it is a true gem! The beds are extremely comfortable, and the kitchen was perfect for cooking. The porch provided great views during meals, and the proximity to Orillia was nice for an evening out. Scott was the perfect host! Would definitely return again!

There were 8 adults and 3 kids, we had an amazing long weekend stay. Scott met us at the house and explained where everything was, it was so spacious yet comfortable. There were essentials in the kitchen and all the linen and towels were provided. The view was spectacular, you’re literally right on the water, with a nice lawn and fire pit. I would absolutely recommend this place again to anyone looking to get away, not too far from the city.

Scott’s place was great. The view was beautiful, there was plenty of space to accommodate us, it was clean and tidy. For us, the kitchen is an important part of our stay and this kitchen was well stocked and had everything I needed for dishes, cooking utensils etc. The location was perfect for our group, and Scott was an excellent host. Would definitely recommend to others, and stay again.

Lovely deck, backyard, and view of the lake. Very spacious for a one-story cottage. Well stocked kitchen with a large fridge; good working BBQ. Scott was very accommodating to our needs — extra towels, linens, etc. We will definitely be back next year!

A spacious cottage in a beautiful location. If you’re looking for a lakefront getaway, you can’t beat this property! Scott and Aaron were very friendly and easy to get a hold of. There was a heavy snowfall during our trip and we were pleasantly surprised to discover that our hosts came and cleared out the snow around our cars! An excellent experience.

This was a really great place to have our family Christmas. Bedrooms were spacious, kitchen, dining and living rooms were great. The house was easily large enough to have a family gathering, but still very cozy. Host Scott was very accommodating and friendly. Would recommend it to anyone.

The Victoria house was a wonderful spot, great hosts and a great time! Located just a 5 min drive to grocery store and quaint downtown. Our stay here was fantastic. It was everything we were looking for to get away from the city and relax. The water views are as photographed and the house was quite comfortable. The bedrooms were very spacious and kitchen/dining had such nice light and views that it didn’t make coking feel like a chore. Scott and Aaron, the hosts, were incredibly friendly and immediately made us feel at home. They’re easy to reach and always available if you have any questions. Scott and Aaron were excellent hosts, they were available any time you needed them and they made sure their house was welcoming and inviting with fresh linens and flowers. The location was great – a friendly neighbourhood, on the water, and minutes away from the main town. We chose to sleep in the bedroom that was overlooking the lake and it was pure happiness to wake up to the view. I would definitely recommend this place for families with young children as well.

Scott, Aaron and family were visiting to attend a wedding. They were super friendly and so easy to deal with! They were the epitome of ideal guests! My home was left immaculate, with all of the dishes done and the towels placed in the laundry room. The garbage was neatly packaged and left in the pre-arrange spot. Orillia is a small city that locates close to both Midland (1hr drive) and Algonquin park (1hr and 20min). If you are traveling from Toronto (or south of Ontario) and planning to visit these places, Orillia is a perfect place to stay, so that you don’t need to drive 4 hrs straight. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a weekly break or want to do some sightseeing like us around Algonquin and midland.What Yunwei loved about your listing:

Scott and Aaron, the hosts, were incredibly friendly and immediately made us feel at home. They’re easy to reach and always available if you have any questions. They provided clean towels, toiletries, and bed linens and blankets. The best part was the, which is absolutely incredible, and the water is just as beautiful. We spent most of our time on the waters and cooking food on their gas grill. The house itself was a perfect size for me and my 4 friends, and could easily accommodate more. Scott and Aaron were excellent hosts, they were available any time you needed them and they made sure their house was welcoming and inviting with fresh linens and flowers. The location was great – a friendly neighbourhood, on the water, and minutes away from the main town. We chose to sleep in the bedroom that was overlooking the lake and it was pure happiness to wake up to the view. I would definitely recommend this place for families with young children as well. - Response from Scott:

Hosts were very welcoming and helpful for our big group of 8. The place was super great for with a big common space for us to hang out, along with a huge backyard with firepit and bbq area. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage. It was sparkling clean and the little touches like cotton balls and q-tips in the bathroom were great. Scott was very responsive to our queries. Scott’s cottage exceeded all our expectations! Looking forward to rent it again next year.
We spent Monday to Friday in this beautiful lakefront property. The home is clean, larger then we thought and has everything you need. Our children were so busy with all the outdoor water toys that they never wanted to come inside. A huge Lilly pad, kayak and paddle board helped make some great memories. If anything was needed or if we had any questions, Scott was there within minutes. We can’t wait to be back next summer!!
Great lakeside cottage, beautiful deck!
An absolutely perfect getaway for our group! The photos do not do the cottage justice — it is a true gem! The beds are extremely comfortable, and the kitchen was perfect for cooking. The porch provided great views during meals, and the proximity to Orillia was nice for an evening out. Scott was the perfect host! Would definitely return again!
There were 8 adults and 3 kids, we had an amazing long weekend stay. Scott met us at the house and explained where everything was, it was so spacious yet comfortable. There were essentials in the kitchen and all the linen and towels were provided. The view was spectacular, you’re literally right on the water, with a nice lawn and fire pit. I would absolutely recommend this place again to anyone looking to get away, not too far from the city.

Absolutely awesome! Scott & Aaron went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and had everything we needed. My husband and I stayed for an ice fishing trip, location was great & the cottage lovely to come back to each night!
Scott’s place was great. The view was beautiful, there was plenty of space to accommodate us, it was clean and tidy. For us, the kitchen is an important part of our stay and this kitchen was well stocked and had everything I needed for dishes, cooking utensils etc. The location was perfect for our group, and Scott was an excellent host. Would definitely recommend to others, and stay again.

This cottage offers a great location and excellent amenities. It is very spacious and well-kept. The deck and yard were great for hanging out, playing games, having fires and watching the sunsets.

We spent a week in Victoria House on Lake Simcoe. The location was fabulous. We had a great time, even though the weather was unpredictable. The house was clean and Scott was good host. Thank you
Lovely deck, backyard, and view of the lake. Very spacious for a one-story cottage. Well stocked kitchen with a large fridge; good working BBQ. Scott was very accommodating to our needs — extra towels, linens, etc. We will definitely be back next year!

Aaron and Scott were fantastic! This trip was booked extremely last minute and was an epic success! Scott and Aaron kept in touch from the booking and beyond. We asked as many questions as needed, and felt very welcome and at home. Aaron was there to greet us and showed us around and answered our questions. The place was comfy, with great interior and the best view! We just got back and miss it already! having cottage withdrawals. Great place for a family weekend and is pet friendly! A spacious cottage in a beautiful location. If you’re looking for a lakefront getaway, you can’t beat this property! Scott and Aaron were very friendly and easy to get a hold of. There was a heavy snowfall during our trip and we were pleasantly surprised to discover that our hosts came and cleared out the snow around our cars! An excellent experience.
This was a really great place to have our family Christmas. Bedrooms were spacious, kitchen, dining and living rooms were great. The house was easily large enough to have a family gathering, but still very cozy. Host Scott was very accommodating and friendly. Would recommend it to anyone.
The description of the house is accurate. Actually, the house is bigger than it shows in the pictures. Scott lives close by and provides us everything we needed. The house locates in a very nice neighborhood. Only 5 min drives to the downtown and shopping malls (like Walmart). You can see the sunset on the lake from the house. There is one kayak and one standup paddleboard available. We have five adults, one teenager, and one toddler. Everyone enjoyed their stay. Orillia is a small city that locates close to both Midland (1hr drive) and Algonquin park (1hr and 20min). If you are traveling from Toronto (or south of Ontario) and planning to visit these places, Orillia is a perfect place to stay, so that you don’t need to drive 4 hrs straight. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a weekly break or want to do some sightseeing like us around Algonquin and midland.+ More
The Victoria house was a wonderful spot, great hosts and a great time! Located just a 5 min drive to grocery store and quaint downtown. The hosts were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed at all times! Very clean and had everything we needed there. Thanks Scott & Aaron!

Our stay here was fantastic. It was everything we were looking for to get away from the city and relax. The water views are as photographed and the house was quite comfortable. The bedrooms were very spacious and kitchen/dining had such nice light and views that it didn’t make coking feel like a chore. We used the BBQ daily and the house was well stocked with kitchen items, bedding and other essentials. Scott was a fantastic host; helet us know of some local events that might be of interest and was very accommodating during check-in/check-out. Casino Rama was very close, we had tickets to a show that weekend and found taxis to be easily available. Orillia was a lovely place and we found quite a few local shops and eateries that were gems. Already looking forward to my next trip back!+ More
